Cadouin, Dordogne, France

We made a detour to Cadouin this afternoon, a favourite spot of mine, not too far from Bergerac.  While the others looked round I followed the signs saying ‘Panorama’ and found these steps . . .

While I waited for the others to look round I followed the sign ‘Panoramic’ and up the steps to see the church and abbey from the viewing point – admittedly designed with school children in mind, judging by the little benches but worth the climb.

Once at the top I could see the church and abbey from the viewing point – admittedly designed with school children in mind, judging by the little benches but worth the climb.
