Next but last day of January – I’ve just taken Peanut for her early morning walk to the top of the garden. The sun was warm on my back and the cockerel could be heard crowing from somewhere across the field. (I could hear a hunter’s gun too but he was far enough away not to worry about) Although I was unenthusiastic about leaving the Isle of Man this time round, I was reminded today why I keep on doing it. It’s Wednesday so I’m off to the market – that’s another reason why I keep on coming here.
